July 27, 2007 – SmartCells, Inc. Awarded PRMRP Grant from U.S. Army
SmartCells, Inc. received notice that it has been awarded $872,227 in funding from the U.S. Army’s Peer Reviewed Medical Research Program (PRMRP).  The one year grant supports large animal (cat and pig) safety and efficacy testing of the company's glucose-regulated insulin formulations.
